INFANT CLASSROOM

Destiny Learning Academy’s infants classroom are warm, inviting, and have a safe space where babies feel secure, loved, and stimulated. It has soft colors and lighting, and age-appropriate sensory-rich materials to engage the babies' developing senses. The room is designed with cozy spaces for naps and ample floor area for tummy time, crawling, and early exploration.

Our Caregivers are nurturing, attentive, and responsive to the infants' needs and provide a calm and reassuring presence. This atmosphere encourages bonding, with plenty of opportunities for gentle interactions, such as singing, talking, and making eye contact. Activities might include: reading simple stories, playing with soft toys or offering sensory experiences with textures, sounds and visuals that stimulate curiosity.

Safety is paramount. The rooms are well-equipped with soft furnishings, secure storage, and age-appropriate toys and also regularly sanitized throughout the day. A key aspect of the DLA infant classroom is clear and open communication between caregivers and parents while ensuring that every infant’s needs and milestones are met and celebrated. Ultimately, our infant classroom provides a nurturing environment where babies can thrive emotionally, cognitively, and physically in their earliest stages of development.
